We have a couple of great upcoming January shows planned for the Skywriting roster:

Dreamdate will be playing this Friday the 15th at the Stork Club in Oakland with Nobunny and the Touch-Me-Nots. Show at 9pm with a $5 cover.

They’ll also be playing the next night, Saturday the 16th, at the Hemlock Tavern in San Francisco with Bart Davenport and the Moore Brothers. Show at 9:30 with an $8 cover.

Finally, Very Truly Yours will be playing Saturday, January 30th at the Metro in Chicago. Show at 6:30 with a $9 cover, though there’s a discount if you use “truly” as a promo code on Metro’s website. Chances are they’ll be debuting songs from their new, soon to be announced Skywriting release.

Pebble Records is a fantastic new UK-based indie pop mailorder site, and they have been nice enough to stock both of our current releases! Head on over to their shop to grab great records from labels like Cloudberry, Matinee, Susy, Weepop!, and many many more.

Both Dreamdate (“8 Sleeves”) and Very Truly Yours (“1 2 3 4″) managed to make this great mix of the best tracks of 2009. Yeah! There is a lot of amazing stuff on there, so go download both excellent parts here and here.
